A Whole Week
Yes, it has been almost one entire week since I have updated the blog, but I can say that for the most part it is not my fault, we had MAJOR computer issues, which I am happy to announce are fixed.
I don't think I give J much credit about things at times, but I do have to say that apparently he does listen. He listened well to my comment about wanting him to just pick out a new computer and bring it home, and yesterday after my complete meltdown and crying hysterically for over an hour over the lots and lots and lots of lost picture files he did just that! I think I was most excited that I did not have to go to the store and deal with it myself! Oh, and all my embroidery files were fine and we think we have found a way to retrieve the lost pictures!

Now that you know why we have been MIA I will move along to the important stuff because I am well aware that this is really all you care about! :)

Puppies Everywhere
Em and I lucked up on FREE tickets for the Broadway musical of 101 Dalmatians that was in our area last week, so we decided to try it, with Jack in tow. And well, all I can really say was at least it was free because we only made it through the intermission, and that was a bit touch and go!
Other than Jack playing with the hair of the nice lady sitting in front of us, kicking his shoes off and knocking someone in the head, and clapping very loudly at all the wrong moments he did enjoy the singing and dancing. I think we will wait a couple more years before attempting that again!
No cameras were allowed. That should excuse my poor picture quality.

Oh Bananas
Well, we did actually not eat any of the bananas, but we did wear our monkey outfit and wait patiently in a long line of some not-so-happy children to see Curious George on Saturday.

And since it was a dreary, rainy day around here, it was a very good thing that we had planned to take Jack to see Curious George and The Man in Yellow Hat at our local children's science center.
Jack loves to watch George on television and he liked Santa, so we figured he would like it, and he did! He wanted me to sit with him at first, but warmed up rather quickly and even gave a few hi-fives!
We were pleasantly surprised at how much Jack liked the science center and even more impressed at all it had to offer! I think we will be spending more cold and rainy days there.

Jack's granddaddy's will be very proud to know that he was most impressed with the golf course and the fish! But, we managed to get him away from those two things to also play trains, touch the sharks and sting rays, and look at all the dinosaur bones.
even do a little mechanic work!

Random
- Have I mentioned that my heart is
dyingwanting to have these even though they were considered one of the worst fashion trends of the last decade and that skinny jeans are not going on my body!
- Jack has FOUR, yes, FOUR molars coming in all at the same time making for some less-than-pleasant days around our house, but how can you not still smile at that face?
- I called my sweet mom yesterday and begged her to spend her one little hour lunch (to which she agreed without any hesitation because moms are the best!) looking for some red corduroy fabric because I can not find any and I need a mere 2 inches for this applique that I will have for Jack's Valentine's Day outfit to match red corduroy pants. After all he can only wear a cutesy red heart for a girly holiday while he is still so little and cute, right?

- For some silly reason I feel it very necessary to take a shower, put on make-up, and fix my hair only to go sweat with Sara Ann while we attempt to walk 4 miles in the mornings. And I am still having a hard time convincing myself that it is okay to wear yoga pants all day when my 16- month-old's crumbs, boogers, and milk are going to somehow land on my clothes no matter what I am wearing!
- We are "supposed" to not give Jack a bottle anymore because he is "too old" He does not care about it really, but sometimes after his nap I still "sneak" one in just so I can hold him like a baby for those few quiet minutes.

- Jack already has four Christmas outfits for next year. And yes, I am fully aware that Christmas was less than 30 days ago. (My mom and sister can be partly to blame)
- We have planned a little trip to the coast to visit Jack's Grandi, Grandaddy, Aunt Tanner, Uncle Bo, and Hampton in early Feb. I will even admit that I selfishly agreed to switch the weekend we are going not because Hampton's other grandparents were going to be in town and that would be too much for one weekend, but because I really don't want to go when they are there.... in that would mean actually having to share Hampton with them.
- For some unknown reason I visit Jack's closet almost daily, just to browse and secretly wish that I had that many cute clothes in my closet AND someone to dress me every day.
- No, I am not muttering ugly thoughts under my breath about this pre-historic computer that we have had since before J started law school and wishing that he would just come home with one of those cute little notebooks.
- I recently decided to keep my blog and Tootlebugs monogramming business separate. I created a FB fan page to house all of my appliques, fonts, and my price list. I have had a good response in the two days it has been up. I like being able to earn some money and it is something I really enjoy and can do around Jack's sleeping schedule! Visit me there sometime.
Well, I think that just about sums up every little detail of everything that is going on it our world these days. Oh, and we are so ready for Spring!

F-O-R-E
This is Jack's new favorite thing to do around our house and it is not surprising considering all the golfers we have in the family. We have to keep it upstairs for fear that he is going to take out the TV, but you never know what kind for golfer we may have on our hands.
Oh, and I am loving our new Flip video camera from Aunt Shan, just so you will know when I bore you with lots of videos.
Get ready to stand on your head or turn your computer! I have not mastered the Flip yet! Sorry!

Christmas Round Five
We finally finished up all of our Christmas fun this weekend. My mom came up to see Jack and have Christmas with him since we went North this year for Christmas. Jack was VERY grumpy and VERY whiny and is battling an ear infection in both ears at the moment, but I will take a grumpy baby any day over not having one!

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Almost too cold to go outside!
We did do our grocery shopping yesterday and Jack tried his 1st ever happy meal! I am very proud to say (because I do not like McDonald's at all) that he did not like it! He knows that Chick-fil-a is the good stuff! HA!
I am really hoping it does not snow or ice tomorrow.
Stay Warm!

Christmas Round Four
Yep, that is right. There is still more Christmas going on around here!
Since we celebrated Christmas with J's family this year we had to squeeze in some time for my family too. (Mainly because they have to see Jack, and we are okay with being chopped liver these days!)
My dad came by to see Jack on Christmas morning, but since we were in a rush to get to TN we decided to celebrate a little later. We had lots of yummy food and there were lots of presents to open. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day.
Checking out the new ride.
We are just a little selfish with our bath toys!
A little help from Pop to open Chuck.
More for me!
