30 years have come and gone and now we have almost known each other longer than we haven't!
We could not imagine spending a special day with anyone else!

Brothers!
These two boys might fight, hit, and even bite each other sometimes...but they love each other more than anything! Henry misses Jack when he is gone to school and Jack can not wait for Henry to wake up each morning! I love, love, love this picture I snapped at dinner the other night! You can tell how much they are in love!

A Week Worth
Time goes so fast these days. Not really sure what I am going to think when there are 3. I guess it will fly even faster! We stay busy and I forget my camera most days, so I guess that is my lack of blog excuse.
So here is what we have been up to:
1. Henry has mastered the stairs both up and down. He has had the up down pat for several months now, but he quickly figured out last week that if he got on this belly and scooted to the edge he could fly almost as fast as his brother down the stairs. Its really funny to watch!
2. Jack knows that J's birthday is coming up and he has been begging me to make cupcakes. He also overheard my friend Carrie and I discussing a wedding reception that she needed me to be her date for and he was really not happy that we might go eat cake without him! HA! So last week we made cupcakes. He was so proud and they were really yummy. We even got out my Gran's old mini bunt pan that she used to make us little cakes with and he thought that was amazing!
3. Jack is well aware that something is going on around here. He asks me daily about the baby and says its going to be 4 girls and 2 boys! He wants to hug the baby and he has been pretending to be a baby A LOT! I have just ignored it for the most part and I know it will pass, but I could not resist a picture when he found this paci the other day.
4. Gigi and Geepers came to visit this weekend. We played baseball, rode our hot wheels, and ate dinner at a yummy newish restaurant. Of course I did not take one picture!
5. This is what happens when a unnamed little person decides to put a hot wheels car in the sink...the side with the garbage disposal!
6. We are still not used to Pop not having as much free time anymore, but we are glad we get lunch dates since he has to come over our way for work now. When I took this picture we were joking about what he was going to do when there are 3 fighting for lap time! HA!

It's Tax Day!

Easter Weekend
It has been an eventful few days around here to say the least!
We had a packed Easter weekend with lots of fun things going. We were all tired and worn out by the end of it! We did Easter Egg Hunk (as Jack calls it!) at church on Saturday and lunch and birthday celebrating with friends afterwards. Aunt Em and I did some afternoon shopping and a quiet dinner Saturday night, and Sunday Aunt Em and Uncle Kyle joined us for church and lunch afterwards. J and Jack hung out at the Oatridges Sunday afternoon to watch the Masters (remember we did not have TV) Henry and I enjoyed naps!
We have had no cable or internet for 4 days (thanks to Charter...don't get me started) and FINALLY got it back yesterday afternoon.
Henry went with me to the doctor yesterday and was so good while we waited there for 2 hours! The baby's heartbeat was 157 and I am finally starting to get over the awful sickness. My doctor is convinced its a girl, and he thinks our world is about to be rocked! HA! I am not sure either way just yet, but we will know soon enough! We are 15 weeks in and it is flying by!
J got home from work a little early yesterday and Jack stayed late at school, so we decided to pick him up and make a grocery store trip. It was chaotic, as usual but nothing out of the ordinary until we got home! J and I were putting up groceries and Henry and Jack were playing in the hallway. Henry fell and face planted just right on the hardwood floor. His bottom two teeth went right through his face on right under his bottom lip. There was lots of blood, some crying, and 5 minutes later he was fine acting normal and no blood. We still called our doctor and she thought we needed to get checked, so J took him to the ER, and I stayed home with Jack who was sleeping! 5 hours and $350 later they were home with the same news we had gotten from a doctor friend. Heals to fast and stitches would just make it worse! You just never know!!!
We are hoping for a less eventful day today!

Early Morning Bunny Visit
When J left for work this morning a little after 7am, he quickly called me and said the Easter Bunny was outside at the front of the neighborhood. Henry was in the high chair eating breakfast so I took Jack on the porch to see. Of course that was not good enough, he wanted to go say HI!
I tired to make myself as presentable as possible for 7:30am and off we went to greet him.
Henry kept waving, but did not want to get too close, he was still waving and reaching for the door when we came back home!

Egg Hunting
Jack's class had an Egg Hunt yesterday! It was quick, but they had fun! He is such a mess this week...Oh my!! And I think I might be missing my dad's help too! He had been coming at least once a week and he started a new job on Monday. Of course we are so glad for him, but maybe a little bitter that I lost my good help :)

Car Race
This past week was rough! Like as in keeping nothing down for two days rough, and of course it all hit at the end of the month, which is J's busiest time at work. I am thinking it was a virus and not just pregnancy especially now that Aunt Em and my dad both had it this past week.
Saturday was bad, but J did the grocery store, haircuts, and Wal-Mart with both boys! I stayed home in my pjs and slept! (yes, I am thankful for that man!)
Saturday late afternoon Sara Ann called and said Reed had something special for Jack. They stopped by on their way home from the Indy car races and brought Jack a hat signed by some of the drivers. Jack thinks it is beyond AWESOME and it made me all the more determined to feel good Sunday since we had planned to take him to the races.
The weather was perfect, we got to walk around the paddock and see the drivers and cars up close. Jack and Reed played and rolled around in the grass for hours. Henry was just happy to be outside. We did bouncy houses and ate picnic snacks. Sara Ann designed a cute applique for the boys and they thought they were big stuff!
Jack wanted to go back to the Car Race (as he calls it) this morning and he begged to take his hat to school!
