We survived our 1st doctor's visit without daddy going and me handling Jack and being the patient all at the same time. Of course it did help that all the nurses made over Jack, gave him suckers, let him lay on the table and pretend he was the patient, and walked him all around talking to everyone. Since Jack starts school next month I figured I could handle one with him alone. He was so good we got emme's afterwards. (that is M&M's for those you can not decipher baby talk!)
Now for the stats, and yes you can stop reading now if you want to. These are here just so I can remember!

Now for the stats, and yes you can stop reading now if you want to. These are here just so I can remember!
At 24 weeks....
- John Henry weighs over 1lb and is more than 1 foot long
- His heart rate was 153
- I gained 1lb for a total of 4lbs, but the doctor did tell me not to be surprised if I gained 5-7lbs next month! Ummm, I don't think so!
- The throwing up EVERYDAY has suddenly reappeared
- I can not sleep anymore and have had to move to the couch as of last night
- Heartburn?? I never had that with Jack, so this is a new thing
- We still debate daily over what to call you. Sometimes it is John Henry and others just Henry
- Jack can say Henry, but if you ask him to say John Henry, he just laughs
- Jack kissed my belly today and said oh wee baby. I still don't think he has a clue what is coming, but maybe we realizes you are def. in there!
We are getting excited and have already started shopping, but really praying we are able to sell this house and move before December gets here. I really did not want to have to start working on a new room for Jack here and then move it all! Plus, when Jack gets his new room, Tootlebugs and all of our guests will be stuck in the garage! HA! I will say thank goodness for our upstairs den, that is now pretty much a play room. Oh well it will happen sometime, I just like the thought of sooner rather than later!
