Weekend

We had a very busy, but fun weekend. I am sort of glad it's Monday so we can slow down a little.

Especially since I have recently learned that Daycare-a-la-Amy is not germ free and Jack caught my cold! We visited Dr. Mc this A.M. and now Jack has a full belly and some Motrin and is peacefully sleeping away on my bed. (yes there are pillows all around him, EVERYWHERE)that was for you Mom and Aunt Shannon, because I know that is the 1st thought that popped into your head.

We had a great Easter day. We went to early service at church and had to sit in the gym because it was SO packed. We were even there early! It worked out well for us since I was not sure how baby boy was going to do in church. With the exception of biting off a piece of the bulletin, he did great.

After church we met Em and Kyle and headed to Anniston to have lunch with our Dad and his family. Nothing like a good ole Easter fish fry! It was a nice afternoon free for John and I because we were not allowed within 10 feet of Jack, his Pop had it under control.

Jack hunted eggs, well sort of ate the eggs and tried to eat the grass and took a long much needed nap on Pop's lap while Emily and I played on the computer and tried to entertain ourselves so that the guys could watch this. Heaven forbid we miss 5 minutes of any sporting event!

And finally I got a picture of our family of three together.

John and I are always trying to take the pictures and never in the pictures, mostly that is okay with me, but I did have on a really cute shirt yesterday, thanks to Em who pointed out this weekend that my closet looked pitiful and that I needed some clothes. Well that was all I needed to hear. SHOPPING! I did fail to mention that my closet looked so bad because over half of my clothes do not fit and are hiding in the closet upstairs. Having a baby does some weird things and all that weight just shifts around! We are working on it and Jack is so sweet and content to let me stroll him up and down our neighborhood sidewalks.

Anyway, enough rambling here are some pictures of our Easter Day!
