Christmas At Callaway

We spent last weekend at Callaway Gardens with my entire family. It was lots of fun and the light show was great, but freezing! Jack loved it so much he slept through the entire event. (at least he got a chance to wear his adorable pea coat) It was the 1st time for the moore's and the unger's to see him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hope you have the best Christmas ever. I know we will.

Jack packed and ready to go.

Mr. Mom

I just had to blog about this day, even though there is no picture. (maybe I can capture a funny one tonight!)

John has babysitting duty this week while I finish up my duties with my job. This morning when I left John was trying not to gag over Jack's diaper at 7:00am. (sweet baby always sleeps until 8am for me) I laughed at Jack and told him good job for breaking his daddy in as I left for work.

So I was not at all surprised when John showed up at my office around 10am to get cash from me with Jack in is wrinkled polo outfit, ugly bib, and hair that was not brushed! Not to mention John who was not clean shaven, had stuff on his shirt, but to my amazement they both were all smiles.

Jack threw up his whole bottle on John this afternoon and then smiled and laughed while John was changing clothes (including underwear) and calling me. Oh, yes he called me about 4 times today which I will politely remind him of in a couple of weeks when I call him at work!

I go home in an hour and cannot wait to see what my house looks like!

The funny thing is I love it and will be sure to remind John of these days when he gives me a hard time for not making it to the shower before 3pm.(which by the way happened to John on Tuesday) But most of all I am so thankful for my boys and that they are getting to have some fun together for a few days. It will be a fun memory for all three of us.

Reed and Jack Playdate

So I have gone back to work this week. OH THE JOYS!

I have realized how lucky I am that I will be able to stay home with Jack after the end of the year becuase I did not realize how hard it is to get up and ready and get a baby out of the house all before 8am.(Now I know why Shannon is never on time for anything!!)

Sara Ann has braved it today and has her 7 month old Reed and Jack to handle all day long. I know by the end of the day I will owe her at least 3 bottles of wine and she even had time to take pictures of the boys. Reed is so cute and is much more into it right now than Jack. Reed also liked Jack's binky so much that he decided he would try it out for himself. Poor baby, I will have to get him some for Christmas!

Enjoy the photos.

UPDATED Shopping and Santa

Well most of you know how much I love to shop along with my mom and sister. So when I found out I was having a boy I was slightly disappointed fearing that I would have no one to shop with and while I know my shopping trips with him are short lived and before long it will be sports and football with daddy I am making the most of them now while I can make him shop with me. And the good thing for Jack is he is the one who always ends up with all the stuff!! I think I could put him in a different outfit everyday and he still wouldn't wear it all. (And no I am not the only guilty party he has had help from his Gigi too!)

Santa told me Jack asked for a new car. Wonder who put him up to that? Um, could it have been his daddy? Maybe Santa could make the Malibu disappear for Christmas.

UPDATE:

Emily sent this picture from the shopping trip. John thinks it is very funny.

Thanksgiving Day

Okay, so I am basically doing the Thanksgiving pictures so you can see how cute Jack was in his little outfit with the pumpkins on it! This was the 1st outfit I bought for Jack when I was pregnant and when he came out weighing in at a wee little 5lbs I never thought he would be able to wear it, but he surprised me.

We spent Thanksgiving in Tennessee this year and this was Jack's 1st over night trip. We stayed at his Aunt Shannon's house in Pulaski where he had lots of fun and was entertained by everyone. It's funny how excited Colby, Sydney, and Caden were to see him. (they used to get that excited over John and I coming, boy how things change)

We had Thanksgiving lunch at John's grandparents in Fayetteville. I was so excited for them to see Jack since this would be the 1st time. Jack loved Katie and Becky and he ALMOST rolled over while playing on the floor with Katie. That was the most exciting part of the trip.

While Jack slept on the way home John and I discussed how Thankful we are this year for the most wonderful blessing we could have ever received and how happy he makes us each day.
